About SwePickleBall
SwePickleBall was created with a clear goal: to build a complete Swedish hub for everyone who plays pickleball – or is curious to start.
Here, we gather guides, rules, technique, and tactics, along with information about Swedish pickleball clubs, courts, tournaments, rankings, and equipment.
Whether you've never held a pickleball paddle before or you compete regularly, SwePickleBall aims to be a place where you can find information to help you progress.
Who is behind SwePickleBall?
I, Billy, run SwePickleBall and have been interested in sports for as long as I can remember.
Over the years, I've had the chance to try and play a rather diverse mix of sports. When I was younger, I played tennis and badminton, among other things, but above all, I dedicated a lot of time to the perhaps somewhat unusual combination of ice hockey and miniature golf.
In recent years, it was a lot of floorball and padel – before I discovered pickleball.
And I was hooked.
What especially appealed to me was how easy it is to start playing, while the sport has a significantly greater technical and tactical depth than one might initially think. The more you play, the more there is to learn.
My home court is in the small town of Björkvik in Södermanland, even though a large part of my own pickleball playing takes place in Nyköping.
Why did I start SwePickleBall?
As my own interest in pickleball grew, I started looking for more information about the sport in Swedish.
I found good information in various places – but I missed a truly comprehensive Swedish website where everything was gathered.
Where do you play pickleball? What are the rules? How does scoring work? Which tournaments are organized? How do you develop your technique and tactics? Which paddle should you choose?
That was the start of SwePickleBall.
The ambition is to build one of Sweden's most complete sources of information about pickleball and a natural starting point for Swedish pickleball players.

At the same time, there's a great depth for those who want to train, develop, and compete.
